Why
Owala gives different instructions for the lid, straw and body material. Treating the entire assembled bottle as dishwasher safe loses that distinction. Confirm whether your cup is stainless steel or Tritan plastic before loading.
How do you wash Owala FreeSip?
- Remove the lid, straw and removable spout gasket.
- Hand wash the stainless steel body in warm soapy water.
- Put the lid and Tritan body, if applicable, on the top rack.
- Secure the straw in the silverware bin, clean the gasket separately and dry before reassembly.
