Is Wok dishwasher safe?

Woks are generally not recommended for dishwasher use, especially if they have a non-stick coating or are made of carbon steel or cast iron.
Why
Most woks are made of carbon steel, cast iron, or non-stick materials. Dishwasher detergents and high heat can strip seasoning from carbon steel and cast iron, and damage non-stick coatings. Stainless steel woks may be dishwasher safe, but hand washing is still preferred to preserve the patina.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm water and a soft sponge. For carbon steel or cast iron, dry immediately and lightly oil to maintain seasoning.
