Vitamix containers are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the container's clarity and longevity.
Why
The container is made of BPA-free Tritan copolyester, which is dishwasher safe on the top rack. However, high heat and harsh detergents can cause clouding or damage over time, so many manufacturers suggest hand washing.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge, then rinse and air dry. If using a dishwasher, place on the top rack away from the heating element.
