Is Tongs dishwasher safe?

Tongs are generally dishwasher safe if made of stainless steel or silicone, but may require hand washing if they have wooden handles or non-stick coatings.
Why
Stainless steel tongs are durable and can withstand dishwasher heat and detergents. Silicone-tipped tongs are also safe, but high heat may degrade silicone over time. Tongs with wooden handles or plastic components may warp, crack, or lose finish in the dishwasher.
How to wash it
Check the manufacturer's label. For mixed-material tongs, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. For all-metal tongs, place in the dishwasher on the top rack.
