Why
Takeya bottles are typically made of stainless steel or Tritan plastic. Stainless steel bottles often have vacuum insulation that can be damaged by high heat, and the powder coating may peel. Tritan plastic bottles are dishwasher safe on the top rack, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish and lid seals.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a bottle brush. Rinse thoroughly and air dry. If using a dishwasher, place only on the top rack and avoid high heat settings.
