Springform pans are generally not recommended for the dishwasher, though some may be labeled dishwasher safe.
Why
Most springform pans are made of aluminum or steel with a nonstick coating, which can degrade or discolor in the dishwasher. The high heat and harsh detergents may also cause the spring mechanism to rust or become stiff. Even if labeled dishwasher safe, hand washing is often recommended to extend the pan's life.
How to wash it
Wash by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Dry immediately and store with the spring mechanism unlatched to prevent rust.
