Why
Most rubber spatulas are made from silicone or heat-resistant rubber, which can withstand dishwasher temperatures. However, repeated exposure to high heat and harsh detergents may cause the rubber to become brittle or discolored. Some lower-quality rubber spatulas may not be heat-resistant enough for the dishwasher.
How to wash it
For best longevity, hand wash with warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. If using a dishwasher, place on the top rack away from the heating element.
