Why
Stainless steel or nylon mashers can go on the top rack, but high heat may warp nylon or damage non-stick coatings. Wooden handles can crack or absorb moisture in the dishwasher.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. If using a dishwasher, place on the top rack away from heating elements.
