Why
The cups are made of BPA-free plastic or glass, and the blades are stainless steel, both typically dishwasher safe. However, the motor base contains electrical components and must never be submerged or placed in a dishwasher.

Place cups, lids, and blades on the top rack of the dishwasher. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth only.
