Why
Nalgene bottles are made from Tritan copolyester or HDPE, which can withstand high temperatures in the dishwasher. However, the dishwasher's heat and detergents may cause clouding or wear over time, and the bottle's markings may fade. Nalgene officially states that their bottles are dishwasher safe on the top rack, but hand washing is recommended for best care.
