Why
Stainless steel ladles are typically dishwasher safe, but wooden or plastic ladles may warp or degrade in the high heat and moisture of a dishwasher. Silicone ladles are generally safe but check for metal cores that could rust.
How to wash it
For stainless steel, place on top rack away from heating element. For wood or plastic, hand wash with mild soap and dry immediately.
