Is Immersion Blender dishwasher safe?
Only the detachable blending shaft and attachments are typically dishwasher safe; the motor body must never be submerged.
Why
Immersion blenders consist of a motor housing (plastic/metal) that is not waterproof and a detachable blending shaft (stainless steel). The motor unit can be damaged by water, so it must be hand-wiped only. The shaft and any removable attachments are usually dishwasher safe, but check the manual as some models recommend hand washing to preserve the blade edge.
How to wash it
Wipe the motor body with a damp cloth. Wash the blending shaft and attachments in the dishwasher (top rack) or by hand with warm soapy water; dry thoroughly before reattaching.
