Why
Gladware is made of polypropylene (PP), which can withstand typical dishwasher temperatures. However, the thin plastic may warp or degrade over time if exposed to high heat or direct contact with the heating element. The lids, especially, may lose their seal if washed repeatedly in the dishwasher.
How do you wash Gladware containers?
Place containers on the top rack only, away from the heating element. Hand washing is recommended to extend the life of the lids and containers.
