Why
Formula dispensers are typically made of BPA-free plastic or polypropylene, which can warp or degrade in high heat. The top rack is safer to avoid direct heat from the heating element. Some models have silicone parts that are dishwasher safe, but hand washing is often recommended to preserve markings and seals.
How to wash it
Place on the top rack of the dishwasher, away from the heating element. Alternatively, hand wash with warm soapy water and a bottle brush, then air dry thoroughly.
