Why
Most fondue pots are made of ceramic, enameled cast iron, or non-stick coated metal, which can be damaged by high heat and harsh detergents in dishwashers. Stainless steel pots without non-stick coating may be dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to preserve the finish and any electrical components.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Avoid abrasive scrubbers. Dry immediately to prevent water spots.
