Why
Farberware pans are typically made of stainless steel or nonstick aluminum. While stainless steel is dishwasher safe, the high heat and harsh detergents can damage nonstick coatings and cause discoloration or warping. Many manufacturers recommend hand washing to extend the life of the pan.
How to wash it
Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh chemicals. Dry immediately to prevent water spots.
