Chemex is generally not recommended for dishwasher use.
Why
The Chemex is made of borosilicate glass, which is heat-resistant but can be damaged by high heat and harsh detergents in dishwashers over time. Additionally, the wooden collar and leather tie are not dishwasher safe.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm water and mild soap, using a soft sponge or bottle brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
