Why
Most ceramic, glass, and stoneware casserole dishes are dishwasher safe, but metal or nonstick-coated ones may be damaged by high heat and harsh detergents. Always check the manufacturer's label, as some glazes can fade or crack over time in the dishwasher.
How to wash it
Hand wash with mild soap and a soft sponge to preserve the finish. If dishwasher safe, place on the top rack away from heating elements.
