Why
Most Calphalon pans have a nonstick coating or hard-anodized aluminum that can be damaged by harsh dishwasher detergents and high heat, leading to discoloration, warping, or loss of nonstick properties. Even if a pan is labeled dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended to extend its lifespan.
How to wash it
Hand wash with mild detergent and a soft sponge or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads. Dry immediately after washing.
