Why
Most Brita pitchers are made of BPA-free plastic that can warp or degrade in high heat, and the reservoir may have a carbon filter that should not be submerged. Some newer models are labeled top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is always recommended to extend the life of the pitcher.
How do you wash Brita pitcher?
Hand wash the pitcher and lid with mild soap and warm water, rinsing thoroughly. Do not wash the filter; replace it every 2 months or as indicated.
