Why
Most bottle brushes have nylon bristles and a plastic or wooden handle that can warp, melt, or degrade in the high heat and moisture of a dishwasher. The bristles may also become misshapen or shed, reducing effectiveness.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry. Replace the brush every few months or when bristles show wear.
