Why
Most bench scrapers have a stainless steel blade and a plastic or wooden handle. The metal blade is dishwasher safe, but high heat and harsh detergents can dull the edge over time. Wooden handles should never go in the dishwasher as they can crack or warp.
How do you wash Bench scraper?
Hand wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately. If the scraper is all-metal with no wooden parts, it can go on the top rack of the dishwasher, but hand washing is gentler on the blade.
