Why
Beeswax wraps are made from cotton fabric coated with beeswax, resin, and jojoba oil. The heat and moisture of a dishwasher will melt the wax coating and ruin the wrap.
How to wash it
Hand wash with cool water and mild soap, then air dry. Avoid hot water and scrubbing.
