Batter dispensers are often not recommended for the dishwasher, but some models may be top-rack safe.
Why
Most batter dispensers are made of plastic or have a plastic trigger mechanism that can warp or degrade in high heat. The narrow spout and internal parts are difficult to clean thoroughly in a dishwasher, and residue may remain. Some high-quality silicone or stainless steel models may be dishwasher safe, but always check the manufacturer's instructions.
How to wash it
Hand wash with warm soapy water and a bottle brush to clean the spout and interior. Rinse thoroughly and air dry upside down.
