Why
Most baking sheets are made of aluminum or steel, which can discolor or warp in high heat and harsh detergents. Nonstick coatings may degrade over time in the dishwasher. Hand washing preserves appearance and performance.
How to wash it
Wash with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. For stuck-on food, soak before scrubbing.
